Responsible and sustainable use of nanotechnology has a real chance to strengthen and push innovation. The ASINA European project worked in the last three years to investigate the industrial uptake of nanomaterials by providing safe by design solutions for two value chains: antimicrobial and depolluting coatings (filters, textiles), and nano structured capsules delivering active phases in cosmetics. The symposia will show examples of ASINA SSbD results implemented in these case studies, and opportunities to extend them to many other manufacturing sectors. The symposia aims to directly encourage collaboration among stakeholders, including researchers, innovators, risk managers and regulators, and provide valuable insights into emerging trends, design requirements, and market demands, facilitating informed decision-making on nanomaterials development. *ASINA (862444 ), SABYDOMA (GA 862296), SABYNA (GA 862419), SBD4Nano (GA 862195) and Repoxyble (GA 101091891) have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon research and innovation programme |
