To achieve the ambitious objectives of the energy transition, it is strongly necessary to implement a synergy between the various players of the scene. Synergy is crucial both concerning research institutions, with the exchange of knowledge and the development of collaborations to give impulse for cutting edge research, and in the relationship between research institutions and industrial actors. The improvement of interoperability within the technological innovation scenario can lead to a concrete leap forward in results, with positive effects for the global national scenario. With this in mind, initiatives are underway aimed at the integration and sharing of technological facilities, to allow for the best performance of state-of-the-art research capable of producing top-level scientific results. Furthermore, collaborative initiatives are being developed between research institutions and private companies with the aim of maximizing the impact of research towards the creation of systems with high added value. In this symposium, some of the Research and Technological Innovation Infrastructures funded by PNRR are presented and their role in achieving a sustainable society is discussed. | |||||||
